RECRUITING: 6ft 7in Defensive End Considering Bama
By tempadminAdrian Hubbard, a 6 ft 7 in defensive end and a "late bloomer" in the 2010 recruiting class, is being heavily pursued for one of the final coveted signing days spots for the Alabama 2010 recruiting class. You have to see the video below. He could be the next best thing to Copeland or Curry in 1992 if he looks this dominating in high school.
Hubbard has had a monster senior season and apparently has come out of nowhere to impress the college scouts and catching the eye of Nick Saban. He's from Norcross, GA and is 6-7, 227 lbs and runs like a deer with 4.45/40. Yeah, no doubt about it, he is a hoss.
In his highlight video on Youtube, he looks very impressive. When you also consider the fact that he did not play last year, he looks amazing on film. Imagine after a couple years under Saban tutelage? He is a NFL defensive end in waiting. While that sounds premature (and it may be), the video below tells the story best.
Hubbard was at the Alabama/LSU game on Saturday to watch the Tide take on LSU, and he left Tuscaloosa impressed. He said the trip went well and that NIck Saban was intense. Hubbard plans to visit USC and Florida State says he will not commit until late December or early January. Would be nice to get his commitment around the New Years to start of 2010 right!
