Former Crimson Tide forward JaMychal Green announced yesterday that he signed with the San Antonio Spurs. Green made this announcement on Twitter:

"Signed my contract today my grandma cried and told me she proud of me thats the best feeling in the world !! I do this for my family !!!!"

Green played with the Spurs earlier this year in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. It was thought by some, after his play last year with Team USA and his senior season at Bama, that Green would be drafted, but he wasn't.

But Green's play in the summer league obviously impressed the Spurs enough that he is now part of the team. Congratulations JaMychal I'm sure you'll do us all proud.
