You would think that if your name was mentioned as one of the top three finalist for the Heisman Trophy that not only would you be flattered and but have a huge ego-not Tide   QB AJ McCarron.

When asked does the Heisman talk matter, McCarron said "Not at all."

Like Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson before him who were also mentioned in Heisman conversation, McCarron doesn't worry about the hype surrounding winning the prestigious award. All he is concerned about is getting the job done on the field.

"You got to know you have another down to live," McCarron said. "One of the oldest saying is, 'You always end the drive with a kick, most of the time you're going to win the ballgame."
