When AJ McCarron was seen limping off the field in the Missouri game two weeks ago, Tide fans around the country held their breath.

McCarron being out for the rest of the season may have meant the end of the Crimson Tide's run to a national championship this season.

Since beating out former back-up Phillip Sims for the starting quarterback position, McCarron is 20-1 as the starter. This season alone McCarron has thrown 16 td's and no interceptions setting a new Alabama record.

McCarron's play is starting to get noticed from around the country and even some are starting to say he is one of the front runners for the Heisman Trophy.

Although Nick Saban won't talk about AJ's chance's of winning the Heisman, he understands why his QB is getting the attention.

"AJ has played very, very well for us," he said. "He hasn't turned the ball over, makes a lot of good choices and decisions.
