After some worry and a little speculation, Alabama is the No. 1 team in the BCS which wasn't a surprise to most although several of the computers liked several other teams. The surprise in the BCS wasn't Alabama, but who was No. 2-the Florida Gators. Although the Oregon Ducks are No. 2 in the AP and Coaches Poll, they are No. 3 in the BCS.

A lot college football experts feel it's because of their schedule. Besides the Tide and Gators  1 and 2 in the polls,  LSU and South Carolina are also ranked in the top 10 of the BCS. Georgia is No. 11 and coming in at 12, is Mississippi State.
