Saban’s Father Save Him From The Coal Mines
ByLessons my father taught me, may be a book Nick Saban will write some day about his relationship with his father and how father saved son from a life of working in the West Virginia coal mines.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch did an in-depth article on Nick Saban that discusses about his days growing up in West Va. and how his father Nick Sr., encouraged his son to get away from the coal mines and fight for a better life.
In this article, you get a better perspective of where Saban comes from and why he is the way that he is. It’s a side of Saban one rarely gets to hear or see, but the newspaper did a nice job telling Saban’s story.
