Saban Says NO Against The No-Huddle Offense
ByNick Saban took a strong stance against what some believe is a controversial topic- no not the presidential election, but against the no-huddle offense.
Saban is not impressed with high-powered offenses and wondered is this what college football is becoming?
“I think that the way people are going no-huddle right now, that at some point in time, we should look at how fast we allow the game to go in terms of player safety,” Saban said
“I just think there's got to be some sense of fairness in terms of asking is this what we want football to be?”
Saban is probably speaking for a lot of defensive minded coaches who see that the offenses are starting to get an unfair advantage over the defense because of the no-huddle
Despite Ole Miss running the no-huddle, they still only managed 14 points on the Alabama defense.
