While everyone was oooooing and ahhhhhhing over West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith’s performance against Baylor Saturday, not everyone was impressed.

Reporter Mark Podolski thinks that while Smith was impressive Saturday, he was more impressive with AJ McCarron’s work.

“It's not that I don't like (Geno) Smith. I like McCarron better. Ever since his superb performance against LSU in last season's BCS National Championship game, McCarron has been on my radar for the Heisman.”

Podolski says he knows he may be by himself when it comes to this way of thinking, but he hopes that McCarron will not get overlooked in the Heisman race.
