Calloway and Sims May Get To Play At Running Back

With all the injuries that have occurred at the running back position this year, Tide coach Nick Saban hinted that redshirt running back Brent Calloway may get a chance to play at the running back position.

“We may need to do something like that,” Saban said. "We’ve lost two running backs. We thought we had five. I thought we had pretty good depth at that position.”

Third string quarterback Blake Sims also may get a chance to play at that position as well. The Crimson Tide isn’t lacking talent at this position, but the bodies are starting to pile up.

Not to mention the fact that starting running back Eddie Lacy is fighting injuries as well. Luckily for the Tide, they have depth at running back.
