As we reported earlier this week, it looks like the back-up quarterback to starter AJ McCarron will be Phillip Ely, but don’t discount the efforts of freshman qb Alec Morris.

Morris may be a freshman and at times looks like a freshman, but according to reports out of practice he is making strides as well.
