Jones Puts Up Huge Numbers In First Pre-Season Game for Falcons

Julio Jones put on a clinic for the Atlanta Falcons in the first half last night against the No. 1 defense of the Baltimore Ravens.

Jones ended up having 109 yards including one touchdown in the Falcons 31-17 loss to the Ravens.

After suffering a few injuries last year that prevented him from a 1000 yard receiving season, Jones said it felt pretty good to be back on the field.

“It felt great,” Jones said after the game. “We've been working during OTAs plus the offseason; this is kind of my first offseason and OTAs. But just being able to go out there and connect like that was a really good feeling.”

As good as the Ravens were on defense last year, it must have been somewhat disheartening to see their defense torched by Jones and made Falcons’ fans smile.
