Richardson Has Knee Scope, Will Miss NFL Combine
ByReports from the NFL Network Jason La Canfora is that Trent Richardson will not participate at the NFL combines in Indy because of a knee injury.
Richardson underwent minor knee surgery a weeks ago, according to the report, but it's considered "no big deal at all." The injury apparently occurred in practice leading up to the BCS National Championship Game.
Richardson will not also participate in Alabama's pro day on March 7th, however he will schedule another time to work out for pro scouts. Obviously, if you watched the BCS Championship game, you can tell that whatever surgery Richardson had, had no effect on his play and most experts feel it won't have any effect on his draft status either.
Richardson is still be projected as a top 10 draft pick.
