Georgia Fans Nervous About Saban Stealing Prize Recruit

As if Georgia fans have enough to worry about, now it's being reported in an Atlanta paper that Nick Saban is taking a look at Georgia quarterback recruit Brice Ramsey.

The 6-foot-3, Ramsey committed to UGA since last summer, was offered by Alabama, along with UGA, Florida, Florida State, Clemson and Notre Dame, as a sophomore.

Ramsey's high school coach Jeff Herron said Saban paid them a visit recently.

“Coach Saban talked to me a while, and then talked to our principal for a while,” Herron said. “Then [Alabama] wanted Brice to call over the weekend so they could make the formal scholarship offer from the University of Alabama. I wasn’t surprised. Brice committed to Georgia and he still is committed there. But in today’s world of recruiting, that doesn’t mean other people are going to stop recruiting you.”

Ramsey is reportdly will be making a visit to Tuscaloosa in the next month or so.
