Since we are still weeks away from the BCS National Championship game, I thought it would be interesting to take a look back at some of the plays this past season that helped the Tide in its quest for its 14th national championship.

Let’s start with Kent State. Excitement as you can tell was in the air not only because it was the first game of the season, but it would be the first game played in Bryant-Denny since the devastating tornadoes in April.

Bama had no problem handling the Golden Flashes defeating them, 48-7. After the game, Tide fans gave the Kent State players an ovation for their efforts in helping to rebuild Tuscaloosa.
