Touching video of Carson Tinker on stage accepting the Disney Spirit Award. This was a team award, but there was no one better than Carson Tinker to accept this award. If you remember, back this spring in the deadly tornados, Carson Tinker was injured, but most of all he lost his girlfriend, Ashley Harrison. His story is inspiring as he takes the stage with Trent Richardson, Barrett Jones, Mark Barron, & Dont'a Hightower to accept it on the behalf of the University of Alabama.

Tinker said that instead of asking for blessings, that the Alabama players asked how they could be a blessing to the community and to the state of Alabama.

He went on to say that, "We have the best fans in the whole world and we love them to death and they supported us through the good times and bad times."

Tinker then said, "We are glad we could help them in the bad times."

Sitting by with Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, Coach Nick Saban said he was really proud of the team in the aftermath of the tragedy not only after the events of last spring but also throughout the season.

Alabama was chosen for this award due to the efforts that the players put in to help the victims of the tornados.
