Tony Mitchell Named SEC Player of the Week

Alabama junior forward Tony Mitchell, who averaged 19 points in three victories at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, was named Southeastern Conference's Player of the Week.

Mitchell also averaged 9.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 blocks per game; he also shot almost 57 percent from the field including 54 percent from three-point land.

This is Mitchell's second SEC Player of the Week award.
