One so the top recruits in the nation, Phillip Sims is headed to the University of Alabama in the upcoming signing class. He is one of my facebook friends, and he said he was planning to visit the Capstone this weekend for the Alabama/Tennessee game.

According to many sources, he is a firm commitment to Alabama and is rated as the #2 quarterback in the country. He just recently set the Virginia state record for career passing yards. Sims and the Oscar Smith Tigers are the defending state champions and the top ranked team in Virginia. Look forward to him rolling with the Tide next year.

He plans to graduate early from high school in December, and will be able to join Alabama for spring practice next year.   Will definitely be interesting to see how the quarterback competition goes with this top gun in there to push the others. Check out the video below.
