Jerrell Harris Will Return for South Carolina Game
ByAlabama's backup linebacker, Jerrell Harris, will be back after a six-game suspension. He will be back to play for the South Carolina game on October 17, meaning that he will miss the next two games against Kentucky and Ole Miss. Alabama has been waiting for the NCAA to announce its ruling about Jarrell receiving impermissible benefits, allegedly a laptop computer from a third party.
Jerrell Harris was a 4-star linebacker recruit (according to Rivals) out of Gadsden Alabama last year. Harris provides depth at linebacker that is even more valuable now than the linebacker corps is without Dont'a Hightower. Hightower was lost due to a season-ending knee injury this last weekend.
