Senior Mark Barron Named Jim Thorpe Defensive Back of the Week

Senior safety Mark Barron was tabbed as the Jim Thorpe Defensive Back of the Week after his outstanding defensive performance in Alabama’s 27-11 win over Penn State. Barron had 7 total tackles along with an acrobatic interception and a recovered fumble. Earlier this week, he was names SEC Defensive Player of the Week.
I am sooooooooooooooo glad that Barron stuck around for his senior year!
