Saints Fans Upset with Ingram
ByNow that Mark Ingram is a New Orleans Saint, apparently he can no longer cheer for his alumna mater.
Just before kick-off of Bama’s first game of the season, Ingram sent out a tweet wishing his former mates luck in the coming season, which didn’t sit well with some Saints fans who of course are also HUGE LSU fans.
Some fans were saying things like “Hey you are with the Saints now don’t you think it’s time to let that go?”
“Hey brother this is LSU country.” Classy bunch huh? Ingram tweeted on Sunday about getting ready to watch and cheer on former teammate and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.
That also didn’t sit well I guess with some Saints fans either because Ingram had to tweet this later:
“I understand the falcons the enemy, DUH!!!! But I'll always wish success for my bro.”
If anyone follows Mark on his Twitter page or on Faceback, you know that he is STILL very loyal to Alabama just like most of the players who have played here, but I guess if you are a Saints fan, he can no longer cheer for his school any more.
But as one Bama fan reminded them (ok it was me) “He will ALWAYS be ours FIRST.”
Take that LSU fans.

This is crap. I live in New Orleans and we love Mark Ingram. We appreciate all the new Who-Dats from Alabama. I was born and raised in Birmingham and I am married to an LSU graduate.
You need to check your sources, young lady, because you are starting crap that doesn’t exist.
Sincerely,
Connie “Who-Dat/Bama Fan” Dwyer

just curious. Who is this stacey person. The article comes across as a bit bitter. I’m an LSU and Saints fan and I think it’s great that he supports the college that helped him go pro.
