Mark Barron led the Tide with seven tackles, an interception, and fumble recovery in Tide’s victory over win at No. 23 Penn State.
Barron’s interception ended a Penn State drive at the Bama 9-yard line in the third quarter and the fumble recovery ended another drive by the Nittany Lions at the Bama 35.
The Bama defense held PSU to 251 yards and ranks third in the country in pass efficiency defense.
In their last three games going back to the Michigan State game, the Bama defense has just allowed an average of eight points per game.
