I guess Duron Carter figured he better show to Tuscaloosa if he is being touted nationally as a possible Biletnikoff Award recipient (in addition to Darius Hanks and Marquis Maze) before he even playing a down for Bama.

The son of the famous Ohio State & NFL star, Cris Carter, transferred to Alabama from Ohio State and was the last player to confirm his arrival in T-Town. Just yesterday Brent Calloway made it known that he would be at Alabama in 4 weeks. Now with a tweet with his Alabama cap on, Duron Carter says "I'm HERE!!!!!" on TWITTER to signify his arrival to Alabama.

His transfer from Coffeyville Community College took a little time to get through the UA Admissions office, but he is expected begin classes in Tuscaloosa this week. Reporter Chris Walsh is reporting the good news of Duron and Cris arriving in Tuscaloosa from Atlanta this morning. He is expected to meet with compliance officers at Alabama this afternoon.

I can't wait to see what this young man can do on the field this fall. He has the combination of large frame & good hands that can make losing Julio to the NFL a little easier to get over. Hope he has the genetics to catch the ball like his dad! I sure he does or Coach Saban would not have recruited him.
