Starting time and broadcast information for Alabama football game against South Carolina in Williams-Brice Stadium (Columbia, South Carolina) on Oct. 9 will be determined later this week by CBS. CBS is electing to use its six-day selection period to chose between Alabama/South Carolina and Florida/LSU's games. The other game will be played on ESPN.

The games are scheduled to be aired on TV by either CBS at 2:30 p.m. CST or at night on either ESPN or ESPN2 at 6:30 p.m. CST.

The earliest that CBS's decision announcement may come would be following the broadcast of the Florida at Alabama game on Saturday.
